According to the police, in Afghanistan, a well-known Afghan politician and 20 other people have been killed in suicide attack. As per the news reports, a suicide bomber stroke himself, at a wedding reception in northern Afghanistan on 14th July 2012, killing at least 22 people and wounding 40 others, The police confirmed it as one of the most violent days in the country for months. In the capital of northern Samangan province in Afghanistan, when the blast happened, a person named Ahmad Khan Samangani was confirmed that he was to be attending a wedding party for his daughter in Aybak.

Anosh confirmed that It was Ahmad Khan Samangani’s daughter’s wedding. A suicide bomber blew himself up, killing and wounding dozens of people in marriage. According to the local news reports, the men was embraced with another man who then detonated explosives he was carrying. Ahmad Khan Samangani was a military commander in northern Afghanistan and an MP. The criminal director of the provincial police of Afghanistan, Ghulam Mohammad Khan, confirmed in a press conference, that many officials of Government were killed in the blast and more than 40 peoples were injured. Afghans from some parts of northern Afghanistan, which is relatively peaceful compared to volatile southern and eastern parts of the country, hold ceremonies early in the morning.

An agency confirmed that a senior police commander related to Mr Samangani, was also among the wounded people. The attack came after a prominent female Afghan politician was killed in the bomb attack in eastern Laghman province of Afghanistan. The politician, Hanifa Safi, was the provincial head of the Afghan ministry of women’s affairs. She was known as a leading advocate of fair treatment for women. The rebels of Afghanistan fighting against Western-backed government of President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai and carried out dozens of suicide attacks this year.
